Telnet company completes the development and updating of Hebron Municipality’s data center.
As part of its diligent and creative efforts to develop the work environment in major Palestinian institutions, Telenet Telecommunications and Network Company has completed its work in developing and updating Hebron Municipality’s data center, which is one of the largest service institutions in the country, according to the latest global technologies. This marks a qualitative leap in terms of performance quality and ensures continuity of work in case of any emergencies at the institution.
The mayor, Taysir Abu Sneineh, praised this cooperation with Telnet company, expressing his pride in having brilliant Palestinian minds capable of dealing with the latest advances in modern technology when it comes to establishing data centers and information rooms.
He pointed out that completing the preparation of a new data center will have a significant impact on facilitating employees’ tasks and providing better and faster services to citizens. This means saving more effort, money, and time.
Engineer Osama Dweik, Director of Information Technology Department at Hebron Municipality confirmed that this qualitative addition will improve the performance of systems and programs that municipality relies on daily. This ensures continuous operation without interruption. He also noted that this step will also provide protection for systems and programs through another backup location capable of operating under all circumstances.
Dweik praised Telenet’s technical team’s efficiency for completing their task ahead schedule. This confirms their expertise working according to international standards.
He emphasized that Telnet company worked meticulously on developing servers while improving working conditions within the data room. This facilitated work processes while allowing for faster program performance as well as network development aligned with modern requirements. It also contributed to improving work efficiency by speeding up transactions and requests processing.

Jaber also mentioned that Fujitsu German Company specialized in data center solutions was responsible for designing Hebron Municipality’s data center while Telnet’s technical team executed it with high professionalism.
